Located on the South campus of the University at Buffalo, Hayes Hall was completed in 1890 and was named after Edmund B. Hayes, a local engineer, businessman, bridge builder, and automobile manufacturer who generously contributed to the university's development. It currently is home to the School of Architecture and Planning.
